Visiting from the Wordless Wednesday community. Lovely poetic expression. Honoring and remembering those who are no longer with us is a noble thing visible or not, keeping those dear to us alive someway gives comfort to the heart. Feel free to join my WildWednesdays 'the party where just about anything goes' linky party! Have a wonderful day. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you Cathy for your encouraging words and for responding to the poetic piece in such a thoughtful way.
DeleteThe image represents one of the old historical gardens. When you step into a historic building or the gardens, you are reminded of their celebrated old days. Some times the one's who had built it and the one's who are their descendants, never gets to see the marvellous architecture, as either they are forced fled or exiled, some die out of our own forgetfulness. Instead, we should be thankful for their efforts, should visit these places and remember them with a good heart like we remember our birth ancestors.
Thank you for visiting me here today and for the Linky invite. I'll check your blog hop details to join soon. Thanks and have a lovely week ahead.
Such powerful words. Very well done.

I wish you the same Sandee. Thanks for coming over and showing some love and support. I thought to add something meaningful this #wordlesswednesday in form of verses related to the places we might feel connected to, but don't visit often. It's a gentle reminder for all to revisit the history we are surrounded with. Looking forward for the next blog hop. Have a lovely day and joyful week ahead.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your words and for visiting here today. Have a happy weekend ahead.
DeleteThe range of colours there is simply breathtaking. It would cheer up a person in the grumpiest of moods!
ReplyDeleteExactly! I loved the idea of burst of colours against the backdrop of washed walls. I've often seen such settings in old houses of historical cities. People still kept their courtyards in India with plants of both ornamental as well as medicinal value. Very 80's 90's vibes. Now, it's being replaced by balcony gardens and well painted walls. So eyes still long for the rustic and earthly aesthetics. Thank you, Dear David, for stopping by, sharing your thoughts and sparking so much joy. Have a lovely weekend with your friends and family.
